December - Adieu to 2012

The last day of 2012 was truly memorable....

We had a BBQ party on the terrace of a good friend's place with very few close knit group of people.
The earlier plan was to go to a house party, which I was not very keen on. we ditched that plan last minute.
I could take my daughter as well here- why should she miss out on all the fun???

So, I prepared a few veggie starter for the BBQ - Paneer, potatoes & capsicum. M&S were getting the non-veg stuff.

It was just a few handful people- the same gang did a trip at the end of 2011 - we had had oodles of fun on that trip - it was most memorable trip in the recent times.

We went to their place at about 8.30pm - got the grill ready in a leisurely pace - fed the 2 hungry brats and let them play downstairs and we went up. We were about 13 of us. we started with the barbeque - had the yummy starters - chitchatted some more - like there was no tomorrow...

and then at about 11.30 -put on some dhinkchak music, started dancing - entertaining our cosy little gang :-D. Everyone were thoroughly entertained!!
We were up till 4am- almost dead on our feet - then crashed

S & me started the day really early - we were up by about 6am with just 2 hours of sleep - refreshed.
The 2 of us went for a long walk - then came back home @ 7am. Everyone else got up one by one by 10am - We all had a hearty breakfast at her place, came home by 12pm.

This was one of the best New years till date- after the coke-chips girlie new years parties we would have in front of the television eons ago....nothing can beat that!

I can new memories - but will not trade places with the old one!! Thanks you girls for the wonderful teenage we all had!!

Blogging

I am so happy right now that i want to scream from the rooftops.....
I am completing 2 years in my current company - which is the first ever in my career. This company has been really good to me in so many different ways...
so rightly like RN puts it - I have broken my own record of sorts - completed 2 years here (which is a first) and another sort of record thats off the records - which only a few chosen ones know all about!!! ;-) wink! wink!

but since I joined here - i havent had free access to the vast World Wide Web - hence have been really lagging behind on my writing. It is not like i can just open my page and start jotting down when i feel i want to...cos its just not possible... but there are these irresistable urges to do so...

I have so many things forming in my mind, so many incidents and events that have happened over the last few months that i wanted to put down in cyber memory - but simply have not been able to....

I am now trying to put them down here one by one - Happy Reading!!!!
