Hahahaha!!!!!

After a long and tiring day at work, I had to take it home and bed as well. I was working till about 12am and in a really stressed, frustrated & mean mood.

Then my hubby put a movie- Bol Bachan

And then the laughathon started. I think after judging 2 seasons of Laughter Challenge, Rohit Shetty has really gone above being bonkety-bonkers!! This is a complete no-brainer comedy.

It is 12.30am in the morning and I am sitting here and laughing like no man's business and not even bothered about what anybody will think...

The dialogues are -

pest-control yourself - just control yourself
this is not my cup of lassi- this is not my cup of tea
necessity is the mother of discovery chanel - necessity is the mother of invention
mein uski nazron se gir gaya - my eyes have fallen from my face
honesty is the best policy - honesty is the best mutual policy

huh?? dialogues?? what dialogues??

But whatever they are - I am laughing like my side seams are splitting and ending up with a stomach ache!!

Hahaha- loving it!!!

63rd Independence Day!

For some time now, I have been thinking about posting something-anything on my blog! It’s been really long. I have been here. There is a lot of stuff going on – on the professional as well as the personal front. There have been these sudden itches where I feel like putting my thoughts & feelings down but there is nothing near me – to record it. That’s been the case for a while now.

So, get ready to go on a roller-coaster ride with me soon…

For a starter, I can start with the 15th of August – our 63rd Independence Day. I did a lot that day.

But there was also a blast from the past which took me on a whirlwind ride down memory lane to the 50th Independence Day I celebrated.

That was the year I was in the 2nd year of college, some of us school friends were still in touch then. We used to go to School once in a while – for Independence day, school day etc,.

We came to know that our seniors had planned a get-together of sorts on the 50th Independence day in our school. What better way to celebrate it??

The theme was we would all meet there in all our glorious Indian wear – by flaunting the colors of the flag. We went there in our pristine white salwar kameezes with orange, green and blue dupattas.

We were all so happy to be back in school. I can’t really explain that feeling of belonging somewhere- Our School, where we spent the best part of our growing up years and adolescence. We had just left this sheltered place to pursue the next level of Academics and were really trying our best to get accepted wherever we went.

So, It was really a wonderful feeling to be back in school and we were the SENIORS!! That feeling it self was out of this world.
