Relationships! & Friendship!

The other day I had some errands to run so went to my friend's place and picked her up as well and off we went.
We had given some clothes for alteration and the tailor said he will take about 1/2 an hour to do them. We were tired after office so we did not want to roam around and finally we sat down in a quite corner and started talking to kill the time.
I was telling her about some problem at home I was trying to deal with but did not know how to put an end to it... I guess that is why god made a relationship called friendship because there are some things in the world and in your life that you cannot discuss with your parents, siblings, in-laws & even husband and kids but the same thing you can discuss with a friend without any hesitation and knowing for sure that even if they cannot advice you on it atleast you will have a listening ear.
There are so many relationships in our life that we complicate with our own hands but friendship is the most simple and uncomplicated of all...
I know! Iknow! we are still far away from celebrating friendship day but what the heck! I wanted to write about it...so I WROTE!
1. Parents: I know they will be there for you & they are the ones who brought you into this world and all that but at some point you cant convey whatever you want to them. They do not understand the way we think, act & conduct ourselves. That is probably the generation gap speaking.
2. Siblings: yes! if you do not have a gap of too many years but still you cant tell them everything!
3. In-laws: forget it! they say their daughters & daughter in law are the same but I can tell you the fine line b/n the 2.
4. Hubby dearest: even studies & research have come up with a few things that you cannot share with your man however attached you both are ;-)!! LOL
5. Kids: phew!! you cant make them listen in the first place what will they understand?? :-)

So, all the other relations like umpteen numbers of aunts, uncles & a cousins are there...cousins too help in the same way your sibling does!

But finally it is the friends you fall back on! they are the ones who cushion your fall & they are the ones that are always there when you want them. they are there even when you accuse them of breathing down your neck!
